Manama, Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, the Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, met with Engineer Faeq Al Mandeel, the President of the Association of Engineering Offices, and board members, along with several engineering office owners. The meeting took place during the minister’s visit to the association, accompanied by Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry Undersecretary, and other ministry officials.

The Minister highlighted the significant role of the Association of Engineering Offices in developing and enhancing professional work in Bahrain, recognising it as a key partner with the public sector in providing services to citizens and investors. He emphasised that communication and coordination with professional institutions is part of the ministry’s policy to strengthen cooperation and joint efforts with its partners, aiming to gather constructive opinions and ideas to promote urban development.

The Minister said that the meeting continues
a series of meetings between ministry officials and specialised associations, reflecting the integration of work between the public and private sectors. The Minister acknowledged the efforts and initiatives of the association to advance the role of engineering offices and emphasised the importance of cooperation to achieve common goals.

During the meeting, several topics of shared interest were discussed, and means to support engineering work and professionals were reviewed. President Faeq Al Mandeel expressed his gratitude to Minister Al Mubarak, highlighting the importance of continuing joint efforts to improve the functioning of engineering offices and involving professional associations in discussing and studying methods to enhance work processes in support of comprehensive development in the kingdom.
