Occupation orders residents of Nur Shams camp in Tulkarem to evacuate within four hours

TULKAREM: The Israeli occupation forces ordered the citizens of Nur Shams refugee camp east of Tulkarem, to leave the camp within four hours.

A security source informed WAFA that the occupation army ordered the residents to leave the camp and set up a military post in the al-Maslakh neighborhood of the camp to search them before leaving.

This evacuation order brings to mind the forced evacuation orders issued by the occupation army in the Gaza Strip, in preparation for attacking different areas and neighborhoods.

As in Gaza, Israeli Foreign Minister, Yisrael Katz, called today for the evacuation of citizens from the West Bank.

In a post on the X platform, Katz said: ‘We must deal with the threat in the West Bank as we are doing in Gaza,’ adding that the temporary evacuation of the population should be implemented.

Since last night, the Israeli occupation forces have been launching a massive offensive on Jenin, Tubas and Tulkarem, which has so far resulted in the killing of nine citizens, the injury of 11
others, and extensive destruction of infrastructure.

The killing of the nine citizens brings the number of Palestinians killed in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, since October 7, 2023, to 660.
