Palestinian child and two young men shot and injured during clashes in Ramallah’s towns


RAMALLAH: A Palestinian child and two young men were injured by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets on Wednesday in the towns of Qarawat Bani Zeid and Abwein, northwest of Ramallah.

According to local sources, at least seven people were detained as part of a wide-scale military raids and detention campaign against different villages and towns in the northern West Bank.

Activist Saeed Al-Faqih said that the occupation forces shot a child with live bullets in during clashes that erupted after a military incursion on Qarawat Bani Zei. The child was transferred to the hospital for medical treatment.

Al-Faqih affirmed that the occupation forces closed the entrances leading to the town, where they opened live bullets and tear gas canisters at local residents, injuring a young man in the lower back. His condition was described as a stable while others suffered from suffocation.

He pointed out that the occupation forces turned his father’s house in Qarawat Bani Zaid, Hussam Ismail Omar into a military point, and d
etained his sons Ahmed and Mahmoud in order to pressure his brother to surrender himself,

The forces also assaulted Al-Faqih mother and his brother’s wife, which led to their transfer to the hospital.

In Abwein, the occupation forces shot and injured a young man with live bullets in the lower back during clashes that took place after storming the town and was transferred to the hospital, where his injury was described as stable.

Earlier this morning, the occupation forces injured a 17-yaer-old child and a young man with live bullets in the foot during clashes that broke out between young men and the occupation forces in Qaraweh Bani Zeid

Meanwhile, the occupation soldiers assaulted a woman and detained two others, after raiding their homes said town.

The occupation also raided several homes in Beit Rima and turned the home of a civilian Awda al-Barghouthi into a military point and a center for interrogating young men.
