Skhirat:The National Council of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), during an extraordinary session, decided to authorize the consultations committee, led by Head of Government-designate Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri, to continue negotiations for forming the new government, according to National Council President Najwa Koukouss.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Koukouss emphasized at the session’s opening that El Mansouri’s appointment as Head of Government is a historic political moment for the Kingdom and PAM. El Mansouri, who is the coordinator of the party’s collegial leadership, holds a position that symbolizes a significant political milestone.

Koukouss highlighted that this move is the culmination of extensive political activism focused on fostering a political culture that acknowledges merit and promotes equal opportunities for women and men in positions of leadership and decision-making.

In a press statement following the session, Koukouss mentioned that the agenda included reviewing and assessing the results of the September 23, 2026, legislative elections. She noted that the meeting was also an opportunity to celebrate the party’s success in securing the highest number of votes in the election.
