Prime Minister Mustafa discusses the importance of enhancing relief efforts with Director of the World Food Program


RAMALLAH: Prime Minister and Mohammad Mustafa discussed today with the Representative and Director of the World Food Program in Palestine, Antoine Renard, enhancing relief efforts and joint coordination.

They also discussed the need to exert more efforts to bring aid into the Gaza Strip through more crossings and the importance of purchasing aid provided from the local market in the West Bank, with the aim of activating and reviving the Palestinian economy.

Mustafa was informed by Renard, during a meeting held at the Prime Ministry headquarters in the city of Ramallah in the presence of Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Farseen Aghabekian Shahin, where Mustafa officially accepted Renard’s credentials to work in Palestine.

They also talked about the ongoing genocide committed against the Palestinian people, stressing the need to providing food aid to more than 1.3 million people in Gaza and the West Bank who are facing difficult conditions and also lack water and basic supplies.

me Minister stressed the importance of continuing coordination and joint work with the relevant ministries of social development, labor, and national economy, and international relief organizations operating in Palestine.
