Progress Achieved Under Leadership of HM King Mohammed VI Profoundly Transformed Morocco – Senegalese Analyst

Rabat: The progress achieved under the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI since His accession to the Throne has profoundly transformed Morocco across institutional, diplomatic, economic, and social spheres, stated Senegalese analyst Mankeur Ndiaye.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Ndiaye affirmed that the Kingdom has made major investments that have significantly enhanced Morocco’s attractiveness to foreign investors. He cited the development of the Tanger Med port, which has become one of the largest ports in Africa and the Mediterranean, the expansion of the highway network, the commissioning of the “Al Boraq” high-speed train (the first high-speed rail line of its kind on the African continent), as well as the modernization of airports, industrial zones, and logistics platforms.

Ndiaye, who is also a former Senegalese Minister of Foreign Affairs, highlighted the diversification of the Moroccan economy through the development of strategic sectors. These include the automotive industry, which has established the Kingdom as one of Africa’s leading vehicle producers, the aeronautics industry, and renewable energy.

Furthermore, he praised the social reforms undertaken in Morocco, pointing to the achievements made under the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH), the progressive extension of social protection and health insurance, and the efforts deployed in the vital sectors of healthcare and education.

On the diplomatic front, the Senegalese analyst underscored the strengthening of Morocco’s active presence on both the African and international stages. This position has been consolidated following the Kingdom’s return to the African Union, the development of strategic partnerships with several countries across the continent, and the reinforcement of its relations with the European Union, the United States, the Gulf countries, and other international partners.

Thanks to all these major achievements, the Kingdom has established itself as one of the most dynamic economies in Africa and as an influential actor on the African and global stages, he concluded.
