Rabat: The Royal Guard’s Official 3-Star Show Jumping Competition commenced Friday at the Hassan II Arena in M©chouar, Rabat. This event is held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, who is the Supreme Commander and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces. Spanning from June 20 to 22, the competition opened with the Bouregreg Prize (1.10-1.15 m), where Mohamed Arahbi from the Police Cavalry School emerged victorious. Riding “Hiolita W,” Arahbi achieved a flawless performance in both rounds, completing in 33.49 seconds.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Ahmed Tidjani from the Tensift Equestrian Club secured second place on “Diva,” clocking in at 33.93 seconds with zero faults. Mouilah Abdelhaq, also from the Police Cavalry School, claimed third place on “Fireboy CB,” finishing in 34.34 seconds with zero faults. Debbagh Yahya from the Tensift Equestrian Club and Aharchaou Hattani from the Police Cavalry School rounded out the top five competitors.
The prestigious event gathers top riders from equestrian clubs associated with the Royal Moroccan Federation of Equestrian Sports (FRMSE), featuring 19 events in total. The competition’s highlight will be the Grand Prix of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, set to take place on Sunday.
