Rabat: Rabat’s American International Institute has introduced Morocco-USA dual degree programs, offering bachelor’s and master’s degrees that allow students to earn two degrees. These degrees include one from UPF, acknowledged by the Moroccan government, and another from Arizona State University (ASU), recognized as the most innovative university in the United States for ten years in a row by U.S. News and World Report.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, these programs are delivered in English and focus on immersive learning. They are based on ASU curricula, aligning with global industry demands and enhanced by digital environments. During the official launch ceremony in Rabat, UPF President Mohammed Aziz Lahlou emphasized the initiative’s aim to deliver world-class education to Morocco through the American International Institute.
Students participating in these programs will have access to international learning experiences and mobility within the ASU-Cintana Alliance, which includes 32 partner institutions across 28 countries. They will also have opportunities to engage in international competitions, global networks, ASU Masterclasses, and Global Signature Courses, benefiting from an educational experience driven by technology and innovation.
The establishment of the American International Institute follows UPF’s announcement last July of joining the ASU-Cintana Alliance. This global network of universities is committed to providing connected, internationally-oriented education, aligning with Morocco’s higher education reforms focusing on digital transformation, internationalization, employment, and quality assurance.
Cintana Education, ASU’s international program implementation partner, plays a crucial role in helping universities worldwide expand access to quality education by offering expertise, resources, and support from ASU.
