Resolution 2797: Global Community Aligns with Moroccan Autonomy Plan

Rabat: Resolution 2797 marks a pivotal moment in international relations as the global community aligns with the approach advocated by His Majesty the King of Morocco for nearly two decades, according to Rwandan journalist Gakwaya. The journalist highlighted that the international community’s evolving stance signifies a shift in geopolitical dynamics, with Morocco’s autonomy plan, led by the Sovereign, becoming a central element of global consensus. This plan is now recognized as a credible basis for a political solution.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Gakwaya emphasized that this international recognition underscores the effectiveness of the approach Morocco has adopted. The persistence in promoting this vision demonstrates its accuracy and relevance. The development is seen as a result of a carefully crafted strategy that has successfully united Morocco’s partners around a cause based in law and realism.

Gakwaya further noted that the resolution represents a significant step in building international consensus on the Sahara issue. The journalist highlighted Morocco’s strategic investments in infrastructure, renewable energy, logistics, fisheries, education, and health in the Moroccan Sahara. These investments exemplify how a political vision can be realized through tangible actions.

The focus on human development and economic empowerment of local populations reflects the practical application of the Royal vision, making the autonomy plan a reality-based proposal rather than a theoretical concept.
