Spanish Magazine ‘Atalayar’ Releases Special Issue on Morocco’s Influence and Progress


Madrid: Spanish magazine ‘Atalayar’ has dedicated a special issue to Morocco, focusing on the significant influence of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, whose leadership extends beyond Morocco’s national borders, affecting the African and Arab-Muslim regions.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the magazine’s editorial underscores the strategic partnerships fostered by His Majesty the King with Spain, Europe, and the United States. It highlights his ongoing efforts in promoting dialogue, cooperation, and rapprochement between nations to foster understanding, peace, and coexistence.



The special issue delves into Morocco’s progress over the past 26 years, noting the country’s political stability, economic and social growth, and modernization efforts under the King’s leadership. It features 68 pages of articles and opinion pieces by experts from Spain and Morocco, discussing constitutional, political, economic, and social reforms initiated by the Sovereign. Key topics include energy transition, royal diplomacy, and the autonomy plan for the Moroccan Sahara.



Additionally, the issue explores Morocco-Spain relations, emphasizing Morocco’s role in addressing irregular migration and enhancing peace in the Mediterranean. ‘Atalayar’ highlights the strong cooperation between Rabat and Madrid, driven by mutual respect and common interests.
