Madrid – “Remarkable progress” has been achieved in Morocco, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, towards “sustainable and inclusive development”, stressed the Spanish Coordenadas Institute for Governance and Applied Economics.
In an analysis published on the occasion of the glorious Throne Day, the prestigious think-tank and research centre highlighted the Royal approach to improve the lives of citizens and promote the proven resilience of Moroccan economy.
Since the enthronement of HM the King, a process of modernisation has been set in motion, opening up a new page in Morocco’s contemporary history.
Highlighting Morocco’s place on the international stage, the Spanish think-tank underlined the Kingdom’s ability, under the leadership of HM the King, to successfully meet the many challenges in various fields.
“The Sovereign has consolidated the Kingdom’s position on the international stage, particularly with regard to its European partners, and managed bilateral cooperation issues in order to maxi
mise achievements, while making progress in terms of consolidating recognition of the Moroccan sovereignty over the Sahara”, the report added.
The Spanish institute noted that “Morocco’s achievements in this area, both within the United Nations and at African and European levels, are the fruit of masterful mobilisation at all levels”.
