The Gambia Conveys Profound Gratitude to HM King Mohammed VI


Rabat: Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad Sering Modou Njie conveyed on Thursday in Rabat the deep gratitude of the Gambian President, Adama Barrow, the Gambian government and people to HM King Mohammed VI for His constant support for the Gambia’s socio-economic development.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, during a press statement following his talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita, the head of the Gambian diplomacy hailed the exceptional commitment of His Majesty the King to strengthening the ties with the Gambia. This commitment is demonstrated by the several agreements signed between both countries and the initiation of major projects that contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation and stimulating exchanges between Moroccan and Gambian peoples.



He also highlighted the friendly and brotherly ties uniting the two countries, as well as the shared willingness to bolster the bilateral strategic partnership, in line with the enlightened vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and President Adama Barrow.



During these talks, Njie, the Gambian President’s Special Envoy, had delivered to Bourita a written message that President Adama Barrow conveyed to His Majesty the King.
