The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate condemns Israeli occupation police attack against journalists in Jerusalem

The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate (PJS) today condemned attacks by the Israeli occupation police against journalists covering events in occupied East Jerusalem and the obstruction of their work.

It called in a statement on international and human rights organizations to pressure the Israeli occupation to stop its systematic repressive practices against Palestinian journalists, especially in the occupied city of Jerusalem, and to ensure that they are not attacked or harassed while practicing their journalistic work.

The PJS affirmed that it is proceeding with its legal procedures in the international courts to hold accountable and prosecute the Israeli perpetrators of crimes against Palestinian journalists and not to escape punishment.
