According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, speaking before members of the 4th Committee of the UN General Assembly, the speaker called on all parties concerned to engage in the UN political process guided by dialogue, compromise, and respect for international law with a view to achieving a peaceful resolution of this regional dispute.

The diplomat also welcomed the efforts of the UN Secretary-General and his Personal Envoy to facilitate the resumption of the political process.
