GAZA: Five civilians today were killed and others were injured in Israeli airstrikes on east of Khan Yunis city in the southern Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that five civilians were killed and others were injured as a result of the occupation’s artillery shelling that targeted Abu Hamid roundabout east of Khan Yunis.
The occupation army blew up residential buildings in the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Yunis city, in conjunction with the shelling of Sheikh Al-Nasser neighborhood in the center of the city.
Civil defense and rescue teams retrieved the bodies of three people in Al-Sabra neighborhood after being targeted by the occupation’s artillery several days ago.
The occupation warplanes also targeted Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood south of Gaza City, in conjunction with the shelling of the city’s coast by the occupation’s warships.
The occupation warplanes intensified their airstrikes on the central Gaza Strip and launched a raid on Al-Bureij camp.
Meanwhile, the occupation’s artillery targeted cit
izens’ homes northwest of Al-Nuseirat camp and agricultural land south of Deir Al-Balah.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October of last year has so far resulted in 39,324 documented Palestinian fatalities, the majority of whom are women and children, in addition to 90,830 injuries.
Thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, with rescue teams unable to reach them.
