16th El Jadida Horse Show Bolsters Morocco’s Position as Leading Equestrian Destination – Commissioner


El jadida: Speaking to the press at the opening ceremony of the 16th edition of the show, chaired by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan on Monday at the Mohammed VI Exhibition Center, Merzak stated that this edition, which runs until October 5 under the theme ‘Horse Welfare, a Link Between Equestrian Practices,’ is distinguished by the significant presence of leading national and international players in the fields of horse riding and breeding, as well as by the distinguished participation of brotherly and friendly countries.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, this leading international presence is conducive to the exchange of expertise and experience, opening up promising prospects for the establishment of fruitful bilateral and multilateral partnerships in this vital sector. ige as a global equestrian destination and a leading hub for the organization of specialized international exhibitions.

Initiated by the Horse Show Association, this event, which has gained ever-growing national and international renown, offers a rich and diverse scientific, cultural, and recreational program. Several horse-related activities are organized as part of high-level competitions or exhibitions: the Barb Horse Champions Cup, the Arab-Barb Horse Champions Cup, the International A-Show for Purebred Arabians, the Moroccan Cup of Purebred Arabian Horse Breeders, the HM King Mohammed VI’s Grand Prix of Show Jumping, and the HM King Mohammed VI’s Grand Prix of Tbourida.

This edition will also see the organization, for the first time, of the international competition for Purebred Arabian horse models and gaits in category ‘A’ in the Title Show, which is recognized by international authorities for the excellence achieved by this competition. The cultural and scientific aspects will not be overlooked, as
horses will be examined in numerous conferences, workshops, and round tables, along with a variety of fun activities reserved for young audiences.
