Brazil and Morocco Strengthen Economic Ties at LIDE Forum in Marrakech


Marrakech: Former Brazilian President Michel Temer announced on Wednesday that Brazil and Morocco are dedicated to enhancing their economic relations for mutual benefit. He made this statement during the opening ceremony of the LIDE Brazil-Morocco Forum, which brought together over a hundred business leaders and institutional officials from both nations, highlighting their shared commitment to advance in partnership.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the forum in Marrakech, a city symbolizing progress and development, reflects Brazil’s growing interest in fostering relations with Morocco. Temer emphasized that the discussions during this high-level economic gathering would generate vital ideas and proposals to strengthen bilateral economic and entrepreneurial relations.

The Brazilian Ambassador to Morocco, Alexandre Parola, expressed that the event provides a tangible platform to explore new cooperation opportunities in promising sectors such as food security, clean energy, logistical integration, an
d technological innovation. He noted that the discussions are inspiring for creating sustainable partnerships based on trust and mutual interest.

Joo Doria, founder and co-chair of the Business Leaders Group (LIDE) and former governor of So Paulo, underlined the robust ties between Morocco and Brazil. He stated that the forum is set to inject new energy into the economic relations between the two countries.
