HEBRON: Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, demolished two makeshift structures and a sheep pen, uprooted trees, and harassed shepherds and farmers this evening in the Masafer Yatta region, south of Hebron, according to local sources.
WAFA correspondent said a group of colonists, accompanied by Israeli forces, destroyed two makeshift structures and a sheep pen, as well as dismantled retaining walls in the village of Susya in the Masafer Yatta region.
Colonists also targeted the family of the head of the Susya Village Council, Jihad al-Nawaj’ah, while they were on their land in the vicinity of the village.
Meantime, colonists pursued shepherds and forced farmers to leave their lands in the Wadi al-Juwaya village in the same region.
Furthermore, Israeli occupation forces raided the homes of residents in the village of Jannaba in Masafer Yatta, conducting searches and causing damage to their contents.
In the village of Umm al-Haiman, also in Masafer Yatta, colonists from th
e Avigail settlement, built on stolen Palestinian land, attacked the residence of Ahmed Mahmoud al-Hamamdeh, a local Palestinian resident, destroying its contents.
