El Jadida Horse Show Emphasizes Role of Equine Industry in Morocco’s Strategy


El jadida: The El Jadida Horse Show, inaugurated at the Mohammed VI Exhibition Center by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, underscores the critical importance of Morocco’s equine industry in the ‘Generation Green’ strategy. Agriculture Minister El Bouari highlighted the focus on strengthening the Barb and Arab-Barb breeds, aimed at preserving Morocco’s equine heritage and promoting its pivotal role in traditional equestrian practices.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the event is organized by the Horse Show Association and has gained significant national and international recognition. It offers a comprehensive program that includes scientific, cultural, and recreational activities. High-level competitions and exhibitions, such as the Barb Horse Champions Cup, the Arab-Barb Horse Champions Cup, and the International A-Show for Purebred Arabians, form part of the event’s offerings.



The show will also feature the Moroccan Cup of Purebred Arabian Horse Breeders and the HM King Mohammed VI’s Grand Prix of Show Jumping and Tbourida. For the first time, the international competition for Purebred Arabian horse models and gaits in category ‘A’ will be part of the Title Show, marking international recognition of the event’s excellence.



In addition to equestrian competitions, the show will include a variety of cultural and scientific activities. Horses will be the focus of numerous conferences, workshops, and round tables. The event also offers fun activities designed for young audiences, ensuring a comprehensive experience for all attendees.
