GAZA: Last night and early this morning, a series of Israeli airstrikes and artillery bombardments targeted various areas across the Gaza Strip, resulting in a devastating toll on civilian lives.
According to our correspondent, eight civilians, including children, were killed in an Israeli airstrike that hit a residence belonging to the Abu Shakian family in the Nuseirat refugee camp, central Gaza.
Additionally, six members of the Abu Hasanein family were murdered when their home in the Bureij refugee camp, also in central Gaza, was targeted with missiles by Israeli warplanes.
Furthermore, two civilians were killed when Israeli airstrikes targeted a school housing displaced persons in Gaza City, while artillery shells hit the southern part of the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of the city.
Simultaneously, Israeli jets conducted multiple airstrikes in the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis city, while artillery fire targeted several locations west of Rafah, coinciding with gunfire from Israeli mi
litary vehicles.
Israeli artillery also shelled the vicinity of the Beit Hanoun crossing, Qleibo area, and the town of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.
In Rafah, southern Gaza, WAFA correspondent reported that paramedics rushed several injured persons to Kuwait Specialized Hospital after an Israeli drone targeted a group of young men with a bomb in the Shakoush area west of the city.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has so far resulted in the killing of over 38,848 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children.
The Israeli onslaught has also left more than 89,459 injured, according to preliminary figures, with thousands still trapped under rubble.
