Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Nibras Mohammed Talib, CEO of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and Chairman of the National Committee to Combat Trafficking in Persons (NCCTIP), on Bahrain’s Tier 1 status ranking by the US State Department’s Trafficking in Persons (TIP) report for the seventh consecutive year.
The LMRA CEO congratulated HM the King on this outstanding achievement in the human rights field through which the Kingdom demonstrated the international confidence in its human rights efforts by maintaining its ranking in the report which assesses 188 countries worldwide.
He emphasised that Bahrain’s success in consolidating its international standing in upholding human rights and combating trafficking in persons, was guided by the directives and the vision of HM the King.
