Moroccan and Cambodian Leaders Discuss Strengthening Ties at IPU Assembly


Arusha:Moroccan Deputy Speaker Lahcen Haddad and Cambodian Senate Vice President Ouch Borith engaged in discussions aimed at enhancing parliamentary cooperation and bilateral relations between Morocco and Cambodia during a meeting at the 153rd General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the meeting emphasized the shared commitment of both nations to bolster their relationship by capitalizing on Morocco’s strategic location in Africa and the Atlantic coast, and Cambodia’s position in Southeast Asia. Haddad highlighted the growing momentum in diplomatic and parliamentary interactions between the two countries and advocated for increased exchanges and joint initiatives in economic, cultural, and educational sectors.
