Rabat: Vice President of the Republic of El Salvador, Félix Ulloa, hailed the “inspiring” development process led by Morocco, stressing that the Kingdom has positioned itself as a major player on the continental, regional, and international stages.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the Kingdom is also playing a pioneering role in establishing an ambitious South-South cooperation framework, particularly with Central American and Caribbean countries, the Salvadoran official said in an interview on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the accession of HM King Mohammed VI to the Throne.
“The Kingdom of Morocco has succeeded, thanks to the far-sighted Royal Vision, in leading a comprehensive development process, thus strengthening its position as an emerging regional power and a reliable partner in Africa, Latin America, and beyond,” Mr. Ulloa added.

He also welcomed the “important” Royal Initiative aimed at providing landlocked Sahel countries with access to the Atlantic Ocean, noting that this approach reflects the Kingdom’s strong commitment to the development of the African continent and the enshrinement of the principle of solidarity among the countries of the Global South.
Mr. Ulloa noted that Morocco’s approach to development, which combines political stability and investment in infrastructure, has enabled the Kingdom to play a central role in its African and international environment, adding that Morocco has become a model to follow in terms of governance and sustainable development.
Morocco is now a key player in the establishment of an effective model of South-South cooperation, particularly with Central American and Caribbean countries, which opens up broad prospects for the development of economic, cultural, and political exchanges, he said.
