Skopje: During his working visit, Bourita was also received by the President of North Macedonia, H.E. Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, and met with the President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Afrim Gashi.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, talks underscored a shared commitment by both nations to deepening cooperation across various sectors and highlighted North Macedonia’s unwavering support for Morocco’s Autonomy Plan as the sole basis for resolving the artificial dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

Bourita’s visit comes amid a growing wave of international support for Morocco’s sovereignty over the Sahara and the autonomy plan proposed by the Kingdom in 2007, a momentum now joined by at least 123 countries, including Balkan states and permanent members of the UN Security Council.
