Morocco’s Transport Ministry Engages in 8th Marrakech Airshow


Marrakech:The Ministry of Transport and Logistics is participating in the 8th edition of the Marrakech Airshow, which began on Wednesday at the Royal Armed Forces air base in Marrakech. This participation focuses on presenting the main guidelines and prospects of Morocco’s air transport and airport infrastructure sectors.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the Ministry’s involvement in this international event is a platform for exchange and dialogue among stakeholders in aerospace, air transport, and related sectors. It also serves as an opportunity to showcase advancements in Morocco’s air transport sector.



The Ministry emphasizes the development of air transport and the importance of adapting to sector changes, particularly through enhancing airport infrastructure and improving air connectivity across the Kingdom.



Tarik Talibi, director general of civil aviation at the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, stated that the Ministry’s presence at the airshow is part of its continuous participation in these events, which are crucial gatherings for professionals and stakeholders in the air sector.



He highlighted the backdrop of strong investment and development in Morocco’s air transport and airport infrastructure. Talibi also pointed out the country’s aim to increase airport infrastructure capacity to approximately 90 million passengers annually by 2030, supporting the growth of national air traffic and future mobility needs.
