Osama Saleh Al Alawi, National Economy Undersecretary at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy met with Khalifa bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, Chief Executive Officer (Bahrain Bourse), in the presence of members from the Capital Markets Apprenticeship Programme in its third edition.

The undersecretary underlined the importance of specialised programmes in developing Bahraini skills, especially in the economic sector.

He highlighted the important role of financial markets in supporting the growth of economic sectors and their contributions.

Undersecretary Al Alawi listened to the different experiences of the members during the programme and the areas it covered.

He praised the Bahrain Bourse for its role in preparing stock market specialists and for its positive impact on the development of promising sectors in Bahrain.

The Capital Markets Apprenticeship Programme is a six-month programme providing its participants with an opportunity to interact with decision makers in the capital markets sector, gain knowledge on capital markets and investment and practical experience through rotation across departments in Bahrain Bourse and Bahrain Clear.
