Ouagadougou: The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré and his Malian counterpart Colonel Assimi Goïta were elevated on Friday to the dignity of Grand Cross of the Order of Niger by President Abdourahame Tiani, for their commitments to the sovereignty of the AES.
The President of the National Council for the Protection of the Fatherland, Head of State, Grand Master of National Orders, Brigadier General ABDOURAHAMANE TIANI signed two decrees raising to the dignity of Grand Cross in the National Order of Niger, exceptionally, the presidents of Burkina Faso and Mali.
It is through a press release made public, this Friday, July 19, 2024, that the Head of State decided to honor his counterparts from the Alliance of Sahel States (AES), Colonel Assimi Goïta, President of the Transition, Head of State of Mali and Captain Ibrahim Traoré, President of Faso, Head of State of Burkina Faso.
These two distinctions are delivered in recognition of the firm and unwavering commitment of these two personalities in favor
