Rabat: Morocco’s House of Councillors concluded the second session of the fifth legislative year (2025-2026) of the 11th legislature (2021-2026) on Monday. On this occasion, Speaker of the House of Councillors Mohamed Ould Errachid reflected on the accomplishments in legislation, oversight, evaluation, and diplomacy. He affirmed that the positive outcomes are a result of the Royal Vision, establishing a state with robust institutions, committed to institutional effectiveness, good governance, and national mobilization.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the House of Councillors has diligently performed its duties within the framework of its constitutional prerogatives, adhering to the Royal Guidelines. Mohamed Ould Errachid stated that the Upper House has demonstrated a commitment to enhancing parliamentary action, ensuring quality legislation, and strengthening oversight effectiveness, as well as improving public policy evaluation.
