Casablanca: The upcoming World Advanced Manufacturing (WAM Morocco) exhibition, scheduled for October 28-30, 2025, in Casablanca, is set to spotlight Morocco’s manufacturing and logistics capabilities, according to Trixie LohMirmand, CEO of Kaoun International, the primary organizer of GITEX.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, LohMirmand spoke on Tuesday during the third edition of GITEX Africa, at an event dedicated to presenting WAM Morocco. She highlighted that the exhibition aims to bolster industrial capacities and support transformations across several economic sectors.
LohMirmand mentioned that numerous international experts are anticipated to attend WAM Morocco to offer insights on scaling up industrial growth and accelerating manufacturing development. The event will also focus on workforce upskilling.
“Everyone involved in the production cycle needs upskilling, especially in technologies like robotics, blockchain, and quantum computing – all of which will have a significant impact on the future of industry,” LohMirmand stated.
WAM Morocco is being organized under the auspices of Morocco’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, in collaboration with the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) and the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE). The event aims to propel Morocco’s burgeoning manufacturing sector into next-generation industries.
