Rabat: The proceedings of the 15th session of the Morocco-France High-Level Meeting (HLM) began on Thursday in Rabat, co-chaired by the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, and the French Prime Minister, S©bastien Lecornu.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the meeting aims to reinforce the exceptional partnership between Morocco and France, influenced by the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and French President Emmanuel Macron. This high-level dialogue is preceded by bilateral meetings between government officials from both nations, setting the stage for the signing of several agreements intended to invigorate Moroccan-French relations.
The Moroccan delegation includes key figures such as the Minister of the Interior, Abdelouafi Laftit, and the Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah, among others from various sectors. Their participation underscores Morocco’s commitment to strengthening ties with France across multiple domains.
On the French side, the delegation features prominent ministers including Laurent Nunez, Minister of the Interior, and Roland Lescure, Minister of Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty. The diverse representation from both countries reflects the comprehensive nature of the discussions, aimed at fostering cooperation and addressing shared challenges.
