Ghana’s Foreign Minister Praises Royal Initiatives and Leadership of King Mohammed VI


Rabat: Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, commended the Royal Initiatives on Thursday, expressing admiration for the leadership and commitment of His Majesty King Mohammed VI towards peace, stability, and development in Africa. In a joint communiqu© following his meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, Okudzeto Ablakwa praised His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s contribution to international efforts aimed at promoting peace, stability, and development in Africa.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Okudzeto Ablakwa articulated his country’s intention to deepen cooperation with the Kingdom of Morocco across several areas. The ministers acknowledged the momentum created by the Atlantic African States Process, aimed at transforming the Atlantic African space into a geostrategic framework that presents significant opportunities for synergy and cooperation among its member countries. These opportunities span strategic areas such as the environment, food security, health, energy, logistical interconnection, resource pooling, and experience exchange, contributing to an area of co-emergence and stability.



Additionally, Okudzeto Ablakwa praised King Mohammed VI’s initiative to enhance Sahel countries’ access to the Atlantic Ocean, emphasizing the strategic importance of this initiative as part of Morocco’s active solidarity with fellow African nations.
