Hajj 1446: HM the King Calls on Moroccan Pilgrims to Reflect Exemplary Values of Islam


Rabat: His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, called on Moroccan pilgrims to reflect the exemplary values of Islam, including sincere brotherhood, tolerance, patience, and solidarity. In a message to Moroccan pilgrims bound for the Holy Sites for the year 1446 AH, the King urged them to properly represent Morocco and its civilization.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the King’s message was read by Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Ahmed Toufiq at Rabat-Sal© Airport during the departure of the first group of pilgrims. The King highlighted Morocco’s cohesion and adherence to the Maliki rite and national sacred values based on moderation and balance, which have contributed to the country’s security and stability.



The King instructed the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs to prepare for the Hajj season, ensuring the organization and management of the pilgrimage. He emphasized the importance of Moroccan pilgrims adhering to the Ministry’s arrangements and instructions for their comfort and the successful performance of their rituals.



To assist the pilgrims, specialized staff, including religious leaders, medical personnel, and administrators, will accompany them throughout their journey. The King also reminded the pilgrims to follow the organizational measures set by Saudi authorities to ensure a smooth Hajj season.



The King expressed his appreciation for the fraternal bonds between Morocco and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the importance of prayers for the well-being of the King, the Royal family, and the nation’s unity and prosperity. He concluded by offering prayers for an accepted Hajj, abundant rewards, and a safe return for the pilgrims.
