Rabat: His Majesty King Mohammed VI received several newly-appointed ambassadors at the Royal Palace in Rabat, where the Sovereign presented their Royal Decrees of appointment.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the newly appointed ambassadors include Ahmed Rida Chami, who will serve as the ambassador to the European Union, and Othman El Ferdaous, who will represent Morocco in the Republic of C´te d’Ivoire. Other appointments include Majid Halim to Malaysia, Omar Amghar to the Republic of Serbia, and Redouane Houssaini to the Republic of Indonesia.
Younes Dirhoussi has been appointed as the ambassador to Saint Lucia, while Najoua El Berrak will serve in the Republic of the Congo. Boutaina El Kerdoudi has been designated the ambassador to the Republic of Bangladesh, and Abdelkader El Jamoussi to the Republic of Cameroon. Mohammed Iboumraten is set to represent Morocco in the Republic of Niger, with Fatiha Layadi appointed to Denmark, and Mustapha El Alami Fellousse to the Central African Republic.
After receiving their appointments, Omar Amghar, Redouane Houssaini, Younes Dirhoussi, Najoua El Berrak, Boutaina El Kerdoudi, Abdelkader El Jamoussi, Mohammed Iboumraten, Fatiha Layadi, and Mustapha El Alami Fellousse were sworn in before His Majesty the King.
The audience was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and the Chamberlain of His Majesty the King, Sidi Mohamed El Alaoui.
