Israeli forces build colonial roads, uproot trees near Salfit

SALFIT: Israeli occupation forces Sunday continued to build colonial roads and uproot more than 50 trees from the lands of the village of Sarta, west of Salfit.

The head of the Sarta Village Council, Alaa Salah, told WAFA that the occupation forces began bulldozing citizens’ lands east of the village about a week ago, demolishing tree chains, uprooting old olive trees, and destroying several citizens’ agricultural crops with the aim of constructing colonial roads for the ‘Barkan’ colony.

Salah stated that the occupation forces prevented farmers from reaching their lands in that area.
