These interactions focused on strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise on critical issues such as climate change, migration, agriculture, and food security, reflecting both countries’ commitment to international peace and security.

The Finnish side highlighted the significance of parliamentary re

Finnish officials commended Morocco’s ongoing reforms under King Mohammed VI and recognized the nation’s role as a strategic partner for the EU. They also acknowledged the shared challenges in transitioning to renewable energies and environmental preservation.

Moroccan representatives underscored the robust friendship between Morocco and Finland, appreciating Finland’s support for Morocco’s territorial integrity and the autonomy initiative regarding the Moroccan Sahara. The discussions also offered the Moroccan delegation the opportunity to present the Kingdom’s major projects and reforms under the leadership of King Mohammed VI.

The visit, which took place from September 10 to 13, was a continuation of a reciprocal engagement following the Finnish Parliament Speaker’s visit to Morocco in May.
