Tunis: Director General of National Security (DGSN) and Territorial Surveillance (DGST), Abdellatif Hammouchi, was awarded on Sunday in Tunis the Prince Naif Medal for Arab Security of the First Class, an honor granted to leading security figures who have played a significant role and made outstanding contributions to ensuring Arab security and stability.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, this decoration was announced as part of the proceedings of the 42nd session of the Arab Interior Ministers Council, the DGSN said in a statement. The prestigious award is a testament to Hammouchi’s dedication to fostering security cooperation and enhancing the Arab presence on international platforms.
The General Secretariat of the Prince Naif Award for Arab Security designated Abdellatif Hammouchi as this year’s recipient of the First-Class Medal. This accolade acknowledges his “fruitful efforts in strengthening joint security cooperation and enhancing Arab presence in international forums.”
