Rabat, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, has affirmed the depth of the long-standing relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, which are growing steadily thanks to the constant care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Highness Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait.

The minister praised the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Highness Shaikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Crown Prince of Kuwait, on efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation and coordination to achieve the common interests of the two countries and their peoples.

The Minister of Finance and National Economy was speaking while meeting Fahd Abdulaziz Al Jarallah, the Minister of Finance of Kuwait on the sidelines of their participation in the 2023 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group (WBG) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), currently held in Marrakech, Morocco.

The two ministers reviewed the distinguished fraternal Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations, and ways to broaden financial and economic cooperation to achieve common aspirations.

They also reviewed the outcomes of the 2023 annual WBG-IMF meetings, and discussed the latest developments in the global economy.
