Paris: Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and his French counterpart, Jean-Yves Le Drian, have reviewed the growing exceptional partnership between Morocco and France, focusing on strengthening industrial and strategic relations.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the two ministers “discussed the many areas in which our particularly rich bilateral relationship has deepened- notably with regard to our industrial and strategic partnership, mobility, and global issues- and encouraged the continuation of this positive momentum.”
On this occasion, Barrot welcomed Morocco’s recent accession to the group of countries with a feminist foreign policy (FFP+) as well as Bourita’s participation in this ministerial conference. The two ministers also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest, the same source added.
Barrot “praised the prospects for strengthening the Euro-Moroccan and Euro-Mediterranean partnership in all its dimensions, to the benefit of both continents,” and reaffirmed his commitment to making Franco-Moroccan cooperation a key instrument in addressing regional and international crises.
