Rabat: The King’s Public Prosecutor at the Court of Cassation and President of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Hicham Balaoui, met Thursday in Rabat with Ousman Abdraman Djougourou, the Comptroller General of Chad’s Independent Anti-Corruption Authority, who is currently on a working visit to the Kingdom at the head of a large delegation.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, this visit is part of efforts to enhance cooperation and share expertise between the two institutions, focusing especially on corruption prevention, integrity, transparency, and the development of good governance mechanisms. The meeting served as an opportunity to review Morocco’s experience in combating corruption, highlighting the role of the Prosecutor General’s Office in safeguarding public funds and promoting ethical conduct in public life.

_TABLIGH” platform project, which utilizes advanced digital technologies. Both parties stressed the significance of advancing coordination and cooperation between their institutions, embracing various initiatives aimed at developing mechanisms to prevent and combat corruption, and fostering the exchange of experiences and expertise for the mutual benefit of both countries.
The Comptroller General of the AILC of the Republic of Chad expressed admiration for the mechanisms established by the Office of the Prosecutor General in the fight against corruption and in reinforcing integrity. He lauded the Moroccan experience as a model for establishing transparency in public governance. Additionally, he commended the strong ties between Morocco and Chad, underscoring the centuries-old historical connections and expressing hope that these relations would continue to strengthen in the interests of both nations.
