The initiative seeks to redefine North-South relations by fostering equality, shared responsibility, and mutual respect, enriching existing frameworks with solutions tailored to the needs and aspirations of Southern countries. Amrani highlighted several significant projects under this initiative, such as the Atlantic Port of Dakhla, a major maritime project, and the Atlantic Gas Pipeline, which links 13 African nations to enhance energy security.
Food security programs, integrating Moroccan phosphate expertise with innovative agriculture, and the Royal Initiative for the Sahel, focusing on economic development and security, serve as further examples of the initiative’s impact. Amrani concluded by underscoring the initiative’s role in driving pragmatic and sustainable cooperation for shared prosperity across the region.
